Ayurvedic Dosha Survey
What is Ayurveda? In Sanskrit it means “the science of life” & many scholars consider it to be the oldest healing science on the planet. Based on the 5 elements: ether, air, fire, water, earth which then identify a person’s DOSHA (constitution):
VATA — composed of ether & air, Vata governs movement
PITTA — composed of fire & water, Pitta governs the digestion & the metabolic system.
KAPHA — composed of earth & water, Kapha governs lubrication & structure.
It is the goal of Ayurveda to bring the body back into balance. In order to discover your DOSHA, take the FREE Dosha Quiz, from Deepak Chopra, MDs book “Perfect Health”.
Based upon the teachings that Yogi Amrit Desai shared in his book The Yoga of Relationships. Learning to first recognize and honor the relationship we have with ourselves is then reflected in the relationships we have with others, friends, family, loved ones, co-workers, students, even people we don't even know.
